What Type of Load Is Suitable for The Solar Charge Controller?

       Customers often ask why the load on the solar controller is not working properly, Damaged after the controller is connected to the load. Do you know which loads can be connected to the solar charge controller? ,What are the requirements for the load? Here are some  technical issues for analysis

       1.First,how much voltage Output  controller? (solar charge controller without LED driver).

Output voltage of controller is the same as the voltage of the battery. It is not a constant 12V or 24V. As the voltage of the battery voltage changes, the voltage at the output also changes. Therefore, if the costomer is required to be accurate 12V or 24V, the controller cannot output constant voltage. In general, the operating voltage of a 12V load has a range. For example, within 10-15V, it can be used

       2.What type of load can be connected to the solar controller?

The load output current of the controller is specified, generally divided into 10A, 20A. If this current is exceeded the controller will overload protection and stop the output. Therefore, for the resistive load, the working current can be calculated, the power divided by the working voltage, less than the rated current of the controller, such as light bulbs, chargers and so on. But capacitive loads, such as motors, energy-saving lamps. This kind of electrical appliances will instantly produce a large current when they start, and can even reach 3-5 times the normal operation. It is easy to cause the controller load overload, cause the controller overload protection, the load stops working, and even damage the controller.

       Combining the above two points, if you want to connect the load at the controller load  terminal, you must confirm the working voltage range of the load, and the load power, whether it will produce a large starting current and other information.
